  3. This screen allows you to (1) select one of five report types, (2) specify one
  4. of three output devices for the report, (3) decide to list the entire inven-
  5. tory or just some of the inventory in your file, and (4) decide how to index
  6. the report.
  7.  
  8. 1.  Report Type:
  9.  
  10.     A.  Total Value-Sm   Prints report consisting of the following fields:
  11.                          Item, *Category, Purchase Date, Quantity, and Value.
  12.                          At the end of the report a summary report is printed,
  13.                          showing the number of items in each *Category, the
  14.                          total value of items in each *Category and finally the
  15.                          total value of all items.
  16.  
  17.                          * Owner or Location will be used instead of Category,
  18.                          if Owner or Location is selected to index the report.

  21.     B.  Index Cards      Prints report on continuous form index cards.  All
  22.           (3 x 5)        data fields are printed on each card.

  26.     C.  Cards
  27.         (8 1/2 X 11)     Prints report on continuous paper (8 1/2 X 11) using
  28.                          the index card format.  Three index cards are printed
  29.                          on each page.

  31.     D.  Rolodex          Prints report on continuous Rolodex cards.  All data
  32.         (2 1/6 X 4)      fields are printed on each card.

  34.     E.  Warranty         This report list all items that are/were warranted
  35.                          along with the warranty expiration date.  The
  36.                          report will list whether the item is still under
  37.                          warranty based on today's date.
  38.  
  39.     F. Total Value-Lg    Same as total value with the addition of the
  40.                          Description and Replace Price fields.
  41.  
  42.     G. Summary           Prints five pages/screens of statistical information
  43.                          about your inventory file.  Automatically printed
  44.                          after the Total Value reports.

  50. 2.  List To:
  51.  
  52.     A.  Screen           The report will be listed to the monitor screen.
  53.                          Index Cards, Cards, Rolodex, Total Value-Lg can't be
  54.                          listed to the screen. (Report Types B, C, D and F).

  56.     B.  Printer          Report listed to printer.  All report types can listed
  57.                          to the printer.
  58.  
  59.     C.  Disk             If you select this item, you are prompted for a file
  60.                          name to store the file on disk.  All report types can
  61.                          be listed to disk.  The files can be edited with a
  62.                          text editor or wordprocessor.

  74.     A.  All              All items in inventory file will be listed to the
  75.                          output device previously selected.

  77.     B.  Some             Only those items that meet the selection criteria
  78.                          specified on the SELECTOR SCREEN will be listed to the
  79.                          output device selected.

  84.     A.  Category         Report will be listed indexed by category.
  85.     B.  Owner            Report will be listed indexed by owner.
  86.     C.  Location         Report will be listed indexed by location.
  87.     D.  Item             Report will be listed indexed by item.
